Real name’s Jessica, but you can call me by the name everyone knows me by, "Scratch".

I graduated from California State University, Los Angeles (CSULA) in June of 2013 with a B.A. in Graphic Design & Visual Communication, and have what I like to think is, a generous nice amount of studio arts experience, but with still a lot of room to constantly grow.

I am a Graphic Designer, Videography, &Photographer with a smidgen of Web Designer in me, but deep down an Artist at heart who likes to get her hands into any artistic skills and methods possible. So basically anything art, I've probably have tried or done.

On my off time, I like to stream and connect with people online who share the same passion as I do on Twitch.tv, where I show case my ranges of art interests. I usually follow and join in other communities of other artists on Twitch and tend to lurk in some of their channels.

I also enjoy learning new things such as video editing and posting time lapses of my work on my Youtube or random vlogs. I spend most of my time watching either gameplay or artist channels, just to surround myself with creativity.

With video editing also comes photography. I got into photography a few years into my college days when I was Historian of Alpha Phi Omega, a co-ed fraternity that deals with community service (Go Sigma Class!). I also took the class to develop photos too. Fun memories, but lots of work!

With my Canon EOS 60D DSLR/ Canon EOS M50, I prefer taking photos of nature and often try to find natural moments in life that I think, are best capture moments. Fun photos like jumping make me laugh and seeing nature change is always a pleasure in knowing that life’s beauty is always and forever finding ways to show us whats out there. Nowadays, I spend time video recording and editing and joining in creative projects like making music videos or vlogs.

When I am not doing art related things, I am usually found working out at the gym, cleaning the house, cooking (new or old recipes), playing games, nature hiking, sporty things, watching & reading anime, and pretty much anything geeky. I have a healthy yet not healthy obsession with collecting vinyl arts, prints, and like to surround myself with things that inspire me as well as the works of individuals who I want to support.

I am constantly learning and discovering new art skills to add to my arsenal of interests.

Of course, there’s also the time to spend with family and friends whom are important to me, even when I am hiding away in my studio space (which is constantly). That means random outings and adventures that are filled with fun, food, and of course new memories.

Adventure is out there!

I am also a fan of charity runs and like to donate what I can, when I can. I am a big fan of GamesDoneQuick and any of the artists that I follow that also run their individual charities of their choice.

For traditional art, I work with many different types of mediums but I seem to enjoy sketching whenever I can during my free time and letting my mind wander. I also sculpt and make toy customs, paint with gouache, sketch on the go with pen and pencils, and paint when I sit in my studio. I have recently picked up Copic Markers and also enjoy seeing the colors blend ever so nicely.

I’m also into any creative or crafting too. So making things come natural to me. I use to cosplay back in the day and also like to make costumes and little creative backpacks and headbands and so much more.

Art time!So I’m no stranger to needles, crocheting, gluing, cutting, pasting, sewing, and all sorts of hand making items.

Although, I admit, I’m no good at sewing, so I admire the people who do make it as a living, seeing how making all of the clean is hard!

I am always constantly trying to create, whether it is good or not,  because there is always room for improvement.

I pretty much like anything creative or that makes me think. Seeing or learning the process interests me most. I mean, the idea of just making something out of the tip of your fingers with things around you makes it special.

And the only thing that gives me even more happiness is when someone receives something I have made and their faces light up. That’s a joy you can never replace, especially after knowing endless hours you put into it, just so you can see those expressions.
